Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi Z 98/4 W Refrigerator up and running in no time.

1. Unpacking the Appliance

Remove all packaging and any adhesive tape from the refrigerator. Ensure that all transportation protections are removed.

2. Positioning the Refrigerator

Place the appliance in a location where the ambient temperature is between 10-32 °C. Avoid positioning it next to a heat source like a radiator or cooker.

3. Ventilation Requirements

Ensure adequate ventilation by not obstructing the air openings of the appliance. Ideally, the back of the refrigerator should be close to a wall but with enough distance as specified in the installation instructions.

4. Allow Appliance to Settle

After positioning, allow the appliance to stand for 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

5. Cleaning Before Use

Clean the inside of the appliance with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litres of water). Do not use soap or detergents as their smell may linger.

6. Connecting to Power

Plug in the refrigerator and switch on at the mains supply.

7. Setting the Thermostat

Turn the thermostat control to the required setting. A setting of 4 - 5 is usually suitable for normal operation.
